    We offer interactive language courses, tutoring sessions, and related educational materials. We utilize global infrastructure, including Cloudflare, to ensure our platform is fast and accessible to our international student base.

    Eligibility

    To use Funjp.me, you must be at least 18 years old, or have the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.

    Service Availability

    We strive to keep Funjp.me up and running without interruption. However, because we rely on internet infrastructure and third-party providers, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally need to take the platform offline for maintenance or updates, but we will do our best to schedule these during low-traffic periods.

    3. Your Account

    To track your learning progress and access purchased materials, you need to create an account.

    Registration and Accuracy

    You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Using fake email addresses or impersonating others prevents us from delivering important account notices and is not allowed.

    Account Security

    You are responsible for safeguarding your password. Because your account contains your personal learning data and payment history, you must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.

    Account Sharing

    Account Termination by You

    You can delete your account at any time through your account settings or by emailing us. Deleting your account will remove your access to all purchased courses and tutoring history.

    You are encouraged to fully engage with our learning materials, participate in tutoring sessions, download provided worksheets for personal use, and communicate respectfully with instructors and peers.

    Prohibited Conduct

    To protect our platform and community, the following actions are strictly prohibited:
    • Scraping, copying, or mass-downloading our course materials or platform code.
    • Using our platform to transmit spam, malware, or viruses.
    • Engaging in abusive, harassing, or discriminatory behavior toward Risako C, other instructors, or fellow students.
    • Reselling or commercially exploiting our educational content.
    • Attempting to bypass our security measures or payment gateways.

    Consequences of Violations

    If we determine that you have violated these rules, we may suspend or permanently terminate your account without a refund.

    Funjp.me and Risako C retain all ownership rights to the platform, course designs, videos, worksheets, software code, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use these materials solely for your personal language learning.

    Your Content

    You retain ownership of any personal notes, homework submissions, or messages you create on the platform. By submitting this content, you grant us a license to host, store, and display it strictly for the purpose of providing the service to you (for example, grading your homework).

    Copyright Takedowns

    If you believe any content on our platform infringes upon your copyright, please email hello@funjp.me with a detailed description of the copyrighted work, its location on our site, and your contact information.

    6. Payments & Billing

    We believe in transparent pricing so you always know exactly what you are paying for your language education.

    Pricing and Billing

    All prices for courses and tutoring sessions are clearly listed on our website. We use Stripe as our secure payment processor. By providing your payment information, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your card for the agreed-upon amount.

    Refund Policy

    We want you to be satisfied with your learning experience.
    • Asynchronous Courses: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on pre-recorded courses, provided you have completed less than 20% of the material.
    • Live Tutoring: Cancellations or rescheduling requests for live sessions must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable.

    Price Changes

    We may adjust our pricing for future courses or sessions. We will always notify you of any price changes before you are charged for a new purchase or subscription renewal.

    7. Privacy

    Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Funjp.me and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from our service is capped at the total amount you paid to Funjp.me in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

    Consumer Exceptions

    Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental damages. If you reside in such a jurisdiction, these specific limitations will apply to you only to the maximum extent permitted by your local laws.

    Class Action Waiver

    You and Funjp.me agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

    Small Claims Exception

    Either party may bring a qualifying individual claim in small claims court, provided it remains in that court and advances only on an individual basis.

In return, Funjp.me agrees to indemnify and hold you harmless against any third-party claims alleging that our platform's underlying software or original educational content infringes upon their intellectual property rights.

    15. Service Levels

    While we utilize robust infrastructure like Cloudflare to maintain high availability, Funjp.me is currently provided without a formal uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA) or service credit system. We monitor our systems closely and will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the platform accessible at all times.

    16. Force Majeure

    Neither you nor Funjp.me will be held liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations under these terms if the failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes natural disasters, internet outages, government actions, or labor strikes.

    17. Beta and Preview Features

    Occasionally, we may offer early access to new learning tools labeled as "beta," "preview," or "experimental." These features are provided strictly "as is" so we can gather user feedback. They may contain bugs, are excluded from any service commitments, and may be changed or removed at any time without notice.

    18. Order of Precedence

    If you are a corporate client or educational institution that has signed a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA), Data Processing Agreement (DPA), or specific Order Form with Funjp.me, those documents will take precedence over these Terms of Service in the event of any direct conflict.

    19. Arbitration Opt-Out

    You have the right to opt out of the binding arbitration agreement outlined in Section 9. To do so, you must send a written notice to hello@funjp.me within 30 days of creating your Funjp.me account. If you opt out, all other parts of these terms will continue to apply.

    Savings Clause: If the class-action waiver in Section 9 is found to be unenforceable by a court, then the entirety of the arbitration agreement shall be void as to that specific claim, and the claim must be brought in court.

    20. Data Export and Deletion on Termination

    When your account is terminated—whether by you or by us—you have a 30-day window to request an export of your personal learning data and homework submissions. We will provide this data in a standard, readable format (such as CSV or PDF). Once this 30-day export window expires, your data will be immediately and permanently deleted from our active production systems.
